So, the 2014 season is almost upon us, I am just finalising the events with various organisers and can confirm that for 2014 there will be several UK events including the UK Equinox world cup event, two events in Italy and one event in France so far. The usual Moncontour event at present seems to be just for F1G this time and not F1J or F1H ?? If anyone has any confirmation of this please let me know I would love to include it.
Just added the list of qualifying events for 2014
I have just added details of my latest Engine project, check it out via the navigation panel on the right.......
Had an email from Louis Dupuis in France confirming that they intend to run F1J along with F1G and F1H at the Moncontour 2 minute international on 07.08.14 in Moncontour, France. I have included it, as last year in the Euro Challenge - well worth a visit if you haven't been before or for a while. Information and the entry form can be down loaded from the website  www.vol-libre-moncontourois.fr
Just about dried everything out from the British Nationals last weekend. F1J day started off calm, cool but persistant rain until lunchtime. At which point the weather brightened somewhat and a nice afternoons flying was had by all. The winner and  early leader is ex world champ Watson, closely followed by Chapman and Dixon in 2nd and 3rd.

No entrants in 3rd Coppa Voli in Italy unfortunatly on 06.07.14.

Midland gala, Salisbury plain, UK. A breezy day by the sounds of it and low entries.

Azay Le Brule Inter, France - Only 2 entries with only one making flights.

Moncontour Deux Minute International, France - Mick Lester and Tom Oxager moving up the league table.

Southern gala, Salisbury plain, UK - a bright and breezy day made for hard work retrieving on the plain. Mick Lester and Simon Dixon flew off. Coppa Italia is next 21st Sept....

Brilliant calm and warm weekend on Salisbury plain for the Stonehenge and Equinox Cups. F1J was flown on Sunday 28th Sept - 5 entries, 3 way flyoff then a further second flyoff to decide on a tie between Watson and Chapman. Still waiting to hear if there were any entries in the Coppa Italia event (update - no entries - bummer)

Went to a two way flyoff which Mick Lester won comfortably over Simon Dixon who managed to have a systems problem. Mick wins the overall league for the second year running, not too far behind were Paul Chapman in second and Simon Dixon in third. Lets not let Mick have it all his own way next year ! Roll on 2015 !
