F1J Euro Challenge Rules

  • All qualifying contests must be logged with Simon Dixon by the deadline shown on this website each year. There is no charge to be included.
  • Each individual event will be flown to local rules for the country of origin, but the models must be in line with the FAI F1J rules.
  • Each competitor may count their 5 best placed events in total.
  • Points will be awarded as follows – 1st place 10 points, 2nd place 9 points, 3rd place 8 points, 4th place 7 points, 5th place 6 points, 6th place 5 points, 7th place 4 points, 8th place 3 points, 9th place 2 points, 10th place 1 point. This is regardless of the number of competitors ie. if there are only 2 competitors then 10 points is still awarded to the winner, 9 points to 2nd and so on.
  • In the event of a points tie for overall winner at the end of the season the total flyoff times from their 5 best events will be totalled up. The winner being the competitor with the largest total flyoff times.
